True character makes a good leadership!

 You may gain a position, but that does not mean you’ve gained leadership. You may lose position, but that does not mean you’ve lost leadership!

 Leadership is built on true character! You lose your leadership when you fake your character. The degree of leadership potential a person can expose will depend on how potent he can maintain his true character!

 Speak well to people; Tell them the truth today! If you meet them another day, tell them the same truth! That shows how you can maintain the real character you posess! Be under the broad day light and act rightly; go into the dark night and do the same thing. Never let what you do in light and darkness mis-match. That’s is a good character of leadership!

Money is not everything! (The Judas Ischatiot lesson)

Money is a necessity, but not the determinant of a successful life. It is there to secure you, but not to save you! It is there to support you, but not to sanctify you!

 People who chase money without chasing any good reason for it are always brought down by the money they chase. Yes! If God gives you a gift, he adds it’s manual that contains how to use it to it. However, if you chase something without receiving any authority from above, you will be tempted to throw it away because you can’t find any good manual for it; Go, ask Judas Ischatiot. He has more to say!

 The truth does not need a number of supporters for authenticity. One person among the lot can be the odd one out. In a similar way, 11 people out of 12 may be on the wrong side. However, when the master says you are wrong, “you are wrong indeed”! When the master says you are saved, “you are saved indeed”!

 Never let money be the reason why you betray your close companion. You may not have the joy to spend it because you are supposed to enjoy that money with that companion you betrayed! Do not love money; love the reason for which money exist.

Make the strike!

I observed that when a footballer is about to make a threatening strike to score a goal, there comes a big shout from spectators at the field. He could either get detracted to miss the opportunity or motivated to make it happen. Such is life!

When you meet opportunity face to face, there will come all shouts; some are meant to make you miss the chance while others are encouragements from people who are ready to celebrate your winning goal! Whatever it is, you got to strike irrespective of who says what!

Never become proud within yourself when you are seen as the one to cause that great effect. Never become timid if you know you can while others dare to prove otherwise! Mind your business and make the strike. Don’t feel pity for those who will feel disappointed because you have scored! You were trained not to entertain a pity party but to excel in a winning game!

Remember, no matter how fast you run, you can’t be the winner if you don’t finish. As someone said, to be the first to finish, you must finish first!

Take someone to “Jerusalem”!

If you can carry palm leaves to church on “palm Sunday” while you can’t offer your life for people to freely “pass on” in love, shame on you! Remember, the palm leaves and clothes were placed down for Jesus to walk on and get to the Jerusalem city; those ancient palm leaves have a significance. What is the significance for today’s palm leaves? My dear, the “ancient palm leaves” should instruct you that your life must be lived in such a way that, people will get to their “Jerusalem” through you in triumph!

You become a hypocrite when you can’t freely be at peace with others, but you can carry green palm leaves to church to commemorate “palm Sunday”! Throw those palm leaves somewhere; and lay your life down for someone to walk on and get to the destined land!

Go! Lay your life for people to use as the bridge to become happy people! Let people get to their dreamland through your humility, honesty, and sincerity!

Think before you thick!

My usual instruction to students when they are preparing to write their examinations is “think before you answer the questions”. I am convinced that some multiple choice answers could be so close that you might not know the very one that answers the question correctly! You must think before you pick the correct answers else you will thick the wrong one. You must think before you follow your dreams, else you follow them through the wrong path! Such is life!

Every choice you make is influenced by the thoughts you employ. Two main types of thoughts take you away from reaching far; “shallow thoughts” keep you static; “negative thoughts” take you through the wrong paths! Think positively, think deeply!

Your thoughts are enough to give you the differences between the good and the better. You get to identify the differences between the “best” and the “excellent” when you think deeply! Give thinking the opportunity to be your everyday meal; you get nourished by the best success nutrients!

Great thinkers are great winners. You can’t go lower than that; you must think and be a winner! Keep thinking; think about your destiny; think about the impacts of your serenity; think about where you will spend your eternity!

Give it a repeated try!

It seems difficult right? Why not do something little about it every? A little strike each day can chop down big trees. Give it a try!

If you feel like your action plans are stronger to than your capability, take a moment a draw a plan of how to deal with the difficult task with a single bite at each time. You may end up becoming very discouraged if you decide to win it at a go! Smaller tasks mostly come with smaller challenges; if you are willing to take step-by-step methods to solve bigger tasks, you will easily overcome challenges that attempt to stop you!

Everyday should be a working day on those difficult tasks. A little bit per day is the only way to make it through. Never feel it can’t be done; it can be done with persistent actions, repeated input and consistent attendance!

Give it a try; keep trying it. You will be amazed at how wonderful you will perform if you linger on and on!

Fulfill what you promised!

In His manifesto, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit of God to us when He ascended into the Kingdom above. He fulfilled this mission. Mission accomplished! 

Unfortunately, in our world, we have so-called “Christian” politicians who promise giving their people a big ocean, only to go up there, not even thinking of lending them a cup of water!

Christ taught it all with his principles and his personality. He knew He would send the comforter; He never fail it! It’s not enough for you to know the principles he taught, you must practice his personality; you must be like Him!

Great people make plans and promises that they yearn to fulfill. Keep your eyes on the goals you set to accomplish; let them be done as planned!

If you can’t do it, don’t pledge to do it. Don’t be a liar; say only what you can do. It’s better for you to have a “single sentence” manifesto about your life which is fulfilled than to have 25 chapters’ theories about your visions that remain undone!

Check yourself; fulfill the promises!
